After a big year of Aussie TV, the Logie nominations have been revealed and Andy Lee is sitting among the nominees for the biggest prize of the night – the Gold Logie for the most popular person on Australian television. He is up against his parter in comedy and last year’s winner Hamish Blake, Offspring’s Asher Keddie, The Project’s Carrie Bickmore, Home & Away’s Steve Peacocke and Adam Hills, who has his sixth consecutive nomination for the award.
Offspring, Puberty Blues, House Husbands, Packed to the Rafters, and Underbelly have all received multiple nominations with Channel Nine taking the lead with a total of 37 nominations.
The 55th TV WEEK Logie Award winners will be announced at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium on Sunday 7 April 2013.
Supermodel Elle Macpherson is reportedly engaged to her on-off billionaire boyfriend Miami-based real estate developer Jeffrey Soffer.
Elle, who turns 50 this month, and Jeffrey, 43, were together for two years before splitting in March of last year and have since reunited and, if this news is anything to go by, it sounds like things are well and truly back on track.
Word is Elle is set to make a permanent move to Florida to be with her new fiancé but nothing has been confirmed by her spokesperson yet.
This will be the second marriage for Elle who walked down the aisle with photographer Gilles Bensimon in 1986 only to divorce three years later when she was just 21. It is also Jeffrery’s second marriage.
