There’s nothing quite like the classic chip’n’dip combination to hit the spot on a summer afternoon. Perfecting your dip technique may be tricky, but whipping up these three healthy dips recipes are is easy as they are tasty.
A classic twist on the humble macadamia nut makes for a delicious hummus, or try chia seeds with red peppers to spice up your life. There’s even a guacamole made with soothing greek yoghurt for when it gets a little too hot in the kitchen…
Healthy Guacamole
Ingredients
1 cup Chobani 0% Plain Greek Yogurt
2 medium avocados, halved, deseeded, peeled
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander
1 garlic clove, finely minced
1 jalapeño, halved (seeded for less heat), finely chopped
Juice of ½ fresh lime
Salt
Method
1. Roughly mash avocado in a medium bowl.
2. Stir in Chobani, coriander, garlic, jalapeño, lime juice and salt.
3. Serve with tortilla chips

Moreish Macadamia Hummus

Ingredients
1⁄2 cup macadamias, roasted
2 cups cooked chickpeas, drained 2 tablespoons macadamia oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon minced garlic
10 medium basil leaves
salt and pepper, to taste
Method
Place all ingredients in a food processor and purée until smooth.

½ tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp The Chia Co black chia seeds
1 small garlic clove, crushed
½ tsp harissa paste
1 tsp white chia seeds
