Adam Levine is the latest celebrity to hop on the fragrance bandwagon and Eva Mendes reveals she gets all her best beauty tips from her mum!
Adam Levine is launching a men’s and women’s fragrance.
The Maroon 5 singer – who also has his own clothing range – is launching a scent named 222 by Adam Levine, which will be in stores by May 2013.
It will be available in stores throughout the world – including North America, the UK, the Middle East and the Far East – in conjunction with ID Perfumes.
Ilia Lekach from the brand exclaimed the fragrances would try and capture some of the singer’s “charisma”.
She said, “Adam is a performer with tremendous charisma – both on stage and on TV. Endeavouring to capture that in a bottle has thus far been very exciting and we’re certain the final products will be even more so.”
Adam also appears on television as a mentor on US show ‘The Voice’, and he isn’t the only star of the show to have their own fragrance. Christina Aguilera has now released multiple perfumes, including Royal Desire, By Night and Secret Potion.
After Adam had announced his fragrance line his fellow The Voice judge, Christina tweeted, “Haha @AdamLevine. What a difference a year makes! Welcome to the fragrance family.”
She is referring to Adam’s tweet twelve months before, which said ““I also would like to put an official ban on celebrity fragrances. Punishable by death from this point forward.”

Eva Mendes gets beauty advice from her mother.
The ‘Other Guys’ actress says the best bit beauty tip her mum ever gave her was to only every wear one fragrance, so it became her signature and as a result, Eva only wears Thierry Mugler Angel.
She said, “My mother said that you should only wear one fragrance so it becomes yours. Angel is my signature scent, as it represents the modern, sexy, independent woman.”
However, Eva credits a discovery she made in Australia as her best ever beauty buy. She told Heat magazine, “I discovered Lucas’ Papaw Ointment lip balm while visiting a friend in Australia, so I stocked up on it! It’s one of my beauty secrets. “Nude lips are a must for me so I use Mac Lip Pencil in Spice. It’s a really natural yet stylish shade.”
