Alex Perry has scored one of the biggest coups in Australia Fashion Week history by recruiting none other than Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio to open his show today
The supermodel signed a contract just two days ago confirming she will be striding the Alex Perry Australian Fashion Week runway at Carriageworks at 11am today.
Thirty-three year old Ambrosio touched down at Sydney airport yesterday and, as you do after a 12 hour flight, hit the nearest coffee shop before heading to her hotel. It was clear the star was trying to remain discreet, posting nothing on social media aside from a selfie featuring the hashtag #secretproject. We have to say, we couldn’t be more thrilled to hear that secret project involves the incredible Mr Perry!
This morning the beauty shared a picture of herself soaking up Sydney’s Opera House with the caption, “Good morning Sidney [sic] ! So excited to be here with @alfaromeo_aus @alexperry007 @travorstones #alexperry #Australia.”
The beloved Alex Perry has shared his excitement on Instagram too with a selfie with Alessandra and the caption, “BACKSTAGE ANGEL @alessandraambrosio.”
