Twilight hottie Ashley Greene has become the new face of DKNY and DKNY Jeans.
Last night at an exclusive house party, Jennifer Hawkins unveiled her fourth line for swimwear line Cozi.
We’re sure you’re already aware the Queen has arrived in Australia and is currently touring Canberrra. We check out what Her Royal Highness is up to during her trip.
Ashley ‘Jean’ Greene
Twilight star Ashley Greene has just become the new face of DKNY and DKNY Jeans and is set to appear in the brand’s spring 2012 advertising campaigns.
The gorgeous starlet says she can’t wait to get to work, revealing to Bang, “I’ve always loved Donna Karan’s creations. To be a part of the brand’s message is incredibly exciting because it feels like such an organic fit. It’s easy to talk about how these clothes work for my lifestyle, whether I’m in New York, LA or travelling for work.”
Donna Karan vice president Patti Cohen says Ashley was ideal for the campaigns partly because she is so aware of the importance of social media, saying, “Ashley embodies everything DKNY—her energy, her spirit, her eclectic personal style. She is on the forefront of what it means to connect with a global fan base through social media, a focus that is aligned with our digital and new media initiatives.”
Jennifer Hawkins Unveils New Cozi’s for Summer
Former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins unveiled her latest swimwear range at an exclusive house party in Sydney last night. The soiree was held at promoter Max Markson’s Vaucluse clifftop home. In her latest collection, pastels, vintage florals, French Riviera stripes, polka dots, block colours and leopard print all feature. Hawkins told The Daily Telegraph, “My Cozi 2211 collection is the most directional one yet, with a selection of feminine shapes and flattering cuts.”
Many of Hawkin’s friends and the celebrities of Sydney were in attendance including Kyle Sandilands, Guy Sebastian, Jodi Gordon and Roby Rose.
The stars were entertained by Axle Whitehead who took the stage and sang and enjoyed food from Hugo’s and, of course, many glasses of Moet.
Hawkins chose to leave the modelling duties to others on the night and instead spent her time chatting to guests and enjoying the company of fiancé Jake Wall who revealed he had a private preview of the new swimwear the night before!
Queen Elizabeth’s Royal Tour By now we have no doubt you’ve all heard the Queen touched down in Canberra on Wednesday. Governor-General Quentin Bryce and Prime Minister Julia Gillard welcomed the reigning monarch who was wearing a bright aqua dress and hat, and her husband Prince Philip.
Gillard turned a few heads not only for her bright pink ensemble but because she chose to shake the Queen’s hand rather than curtsey in front of her as is tradition.
Schoolchildren and keen royalists also appeared in droves to catch a glimpse of the Queen on what many expect will be her last visit to Australia.
So what does a Queen do in Australia? A traditional Aussie barbeque, a Melbourne tram ride, a Brisbane boat trip and a trip to the national flower show Floriade are all on the agenda during the 11-day tour.
