For a while there Ashton Kutcher was making headlines (often for all the wrong reasons) nearly every day but recently things have been quiet on the Kutcher front. All that’s behind us now thanks to the star attracting attention for an altercation with security personnel and news about Two and a Half Men.
As the story goes, Kutcher was approached by a fan backstage at Stagecoach country music festival in California when things started to get a little out of hand. TMZ reported that a young woman approached him to say hi and when the star went over to greet her, security rushed between them, causing the actor to start a brawl serious enough that his friends had to restrain him.
The news comes after word was spread that Angus T Jones (the ‘half’) has been dropped as a regular cast member of Two and a Half Men. It’s a bit of a case of be careful what you wish for as the star recently slammed the show on religious website Forerunner Chronicles, calling it ‘filth’.
There’s no word on whether Warner Bros will be dropping the ‘half’ from the show’s title yet…
Sean Penn, Roberta Armani, and Vanity Fair hosted a benefit cocktail and dinner to unveil a collection of unpublished photographs taken by photographer Jim Goldberg in Haiti, to celebrate the launch of ‘Acqua #3’ and announce the collaboration between Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organisation and Roberta Arman’s ‘Acqua for Life’ project.
After the cocktail event at Stage 5 of Paramount Studios, stars like Rachel Zoe, Kevin Bacon, Fergie, her baby bump and Josh Duhamel, Minnie Driver, Emma Roberts, and an Armani-tuxedo-clad Amber Heard flocked to a private dinner at Beverly Hills celeb hotspot Mr. Chow.
During a toast, Penn spoke of the moment in 2010 that he was inspired to help Haiti. He said after brainstorming ways to get the people of Haiti the medical supplies they needed, he secured two planes, seven doctors, and 23 aid workers. A year later this thrown-together effort turned in to an N.G.O, the J/P Haitian Relief Organisation, and today the organisation employs 380 full-time staff. Not bad for three years!
Jennifer Hawkins has been a busy woman! Less than one week after celebrating her bachelorette party, she’s unveiled a campaign film to show off the second independent collection for her shoe brand JLH.
The Autumn/Winter 2013 release includes luxurious, polished and ultra-femme heels that are very J-Hawk and very on trend. The sexy campaign video and features Hawkins herself showing off the JLH designs at the end of those enviable legs and her amazing hair.
