A Sydney cosmetic physician has revealed Australia’s most botoxed stars, Carey Mulligan has touched down in Sydney, and funny women Amy Poehler and Zosia Mamet have stepped up for the US Glamour These Girls event.

Hollywood stars are known for their penchant for going under the needle but Australian star’s botox activity often flies under the radar…. until now.
Sydney’s leading cosmetic physician, Dr Mariusz Gajewski (also known as Dr Maz) has released his list of Australia’s top ten most botoxed celebrities.
Sophie Monk takes the top spot, with Dr Maz saying, “It is likely that she has had further cheek bone enhancements, along with added lip enhancements to her already pouty lips. The use of Botox as an addition has given her face an ‘overdone’ and ‘aged’ look, which counteracts the reason for using it in the first place.”
Charlotte Dawson, and Shane Warne, who frequently dispels rumours he’s had work done, round out the top three and our Fashion Expert Alex Perry even gets a mention at number seven on the list, beating out fellow famous Aussie faces Brynne Edelsten, Napoleon Perdis and Michelle Bridges.
The tongue-in-cheek list is proof that our Aussie’s just aren’t as OTT on surgery as our friends in the states – even top placing Sophie Monk just doesn’t register compared to stars like Heidi Montag!
Carey Mulligan hasn’t stopped once on the Great Gatsby circuit! We’re feeling for the star who flew from Cannes Film Festival in France to Sydney this morning just hours ahead of the Australian premiere of The Great Gatsby.
Despite the crazy schedule, Daisy, we mean Carey, looked absolutely flawless as she walked through Sydney International Airport – we want in on her skin secrets – and we’re excited to see what she’ll wear at the premiere tonight.
Although Leonardo DiCaprio won’t be attending the event, stars Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton, and Elizabeth Debicki will all be there to celebrate the film in the country it was filmed.
Great Gatsby stars aside, the premiere will also see famous faces Joel Madden, Nicole Richie, Kate Ritchie, and Ita Buttrose on the red carpet. Stay tuned for an updated from the premiere tomorrow.
US Glamour held their second-ever ‘These Girls’ event at Joe’s Pub in New York City last night.
The event brought some of Hollywood’s funniest women to the stage to give personal essays on topics ranging from growing up, to sex, to broken hearts, to the perils of technology and beyond.
Amy Poehler lead the event and, after a monologue from Emma Roberts about a cruel blog post and a speech from Alexa Chung on the perils of post-breakup Instagram scanning, said, “Let’s go over what we’ve learned tonight… do not use the internet.”
Zosia Mamet, of Girls fame, also touched on love in the tech-age in her essay titled, ‘I Want It Now’, proclaiming that we’ve become more impatient than ever. She said, “I’m now in a loving, stable, happy relationship. So why am I so f***ing anxious?”
Dianna Agron, Meg Ryan, and Gloria Steinem were also in attendance at the girl-power event and the night was full of laughs and a few tears.
