Put on your most fabulous heels – The Autumn Carnival is here! We love getting dolled up for the races, and the Autumn Racing Carnival 2014 is more exciting than ever, offering a fabulous line-up of special events from the biggest races to the fine dining and the most competitive fashion stakes around.
The key to looking fabulous at the Autumn Carnival is remembering to dress for the season. If you’re in it to win it for the fashion stakes, felt headwear is key, as well as closed in heels and knee-length hemlines. The gauzy fascinators and strappy heels of spring are a no-no!
‘Have a bit of fun with what you wear,’ says top millinery designer Nerida Winter, ‘but ladies remember felt is a must for the Autumn racing carnival! A little lace also makes a really nice addition to your hat and offers that feminine touch.’
