It always feels great to help raise money for a good cause and with so many disasters happening around us of late, we feel even more inclined to help out wherever we can.
This week there are two ways we’ll be helping raise funds and we encourage all of you to participate as well!
Aveda Earth Month Walk For Water
On Sunday April 17, beauty brand and environmental crusaders Aveda are hosting the annual ‘Walk for Water’ event across Australia in association with one of our favourite healthy-living media darlings Sarah Wilson.
Now in it’s twelfth year, the event aims to raise awareness and funds or important environmental issues around the globe.
This year, Aveda have decided to include support for the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal and those affected by the recent
natural disasters in Queensland. To find out where your nearest ‘Walk for Water’ will be held visit Aveda’s Walk for Water Site
We’ll be participating in the Bondi to Bronte Walk for Water on Sunday, we hope to see you there!
Lucky Charm
Jewellers around the globe have too been disturbed by the recent bout of natural disasters in Australia, New Zealand and Japan and have been inspired to use their talents for the greater good.
In comes ‘Lucky Charm’, an auction-style fundraiser that allows you to purchase some unique pieces of jewellery and raise money for the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Rescue Fund.
Check out the Lucky Charm Fundraiser Blog to make your bid and find out more information. The auction officially closes April 21.
