We all have great summer memories, and each year everyone wants to create more memories to last a lifetime. Before your procedure it is strongly advised to stop smoking and lose any intended weight as this can affect results. Also, to make your operation more discreet it is also advised to tactfully grow hair to help hide scarring.
The operation lasts around 3 hours and is most often done under general anaesthetic. Incisions are created in the natural fold of the ear and hairline, allowing the face to be repositioned in a more youthful configuration. Patients may be free to go home that day or stay a few nights, depending on recovery. Stiches will be removed 4-7 days after the operation but bruising and swelling should be expected to last 3 weeks. However, patients should wait 8 weeks to see accurate results. Always remember the aging process will continue normally. Results generally last up to 7 years but to make your results last for the optimum time make sure to protect your complexion with plenty of sun screen.
