Aussie singer Natalie Imbruglia, who recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career, is the most recent recruit to the class dubbed ‘Hollywood’s Hottest Workout’.
Imbruglia told BANG Showbiz, “I do a lot of hiking and I’ve discovered Barry’s Bootcamp and oh my god it’s amazing.” She goes on, “It’s nice and dark so you don’t have to worry about anyone looking at you and they play really loud music with cross-training, sprints and weights, so I do that.”
And Imbruglia isn’t the only one raving about the classes. Jessica Alba, Amada Seyfried and Kim Kardashian have all been taking the class and singing its praises.
Unlike other celebrity fitness crazes, this is a no-nonsense, gimmick free approach to fitness. Barry’s Bootcamp works with interval cardiovascular exercise and intense strength training. Attendees burn 1000 calories in just one class and claim they can see changes in their body after just a few classes!
Unfortunately, we don’t have Barry’s Bootcamp here in Australia but given that it’s opened in Norway and scheduled to open in London any day now, we’re hoping to hear news of an Australian site soon!
In the meantime, those of you who are looking for a similar hardcore workout might like to try a few of these local options:
