Karl Lagerfeld midseason Chanel Cruise show was nothing short of a show stopper held at the former home of Marie Antoinette herself, the Chateau de Versailles, southwest of Paris.
An infusion of Baroque, femininity and a touch of punk saw Chanel logo beauty spots, lilac, grey, pink and black wigs and silk hair bows. A wash of pink and coral dominated the look from the shadow to the blusher and glossy pink lips. Fun and very French, audiences were wowed with the ‘Marie Antoinette on acid’ beauty look thanks to the Creative Director of Chanel Make-Up, Peter Philips.
