While most of us don’t have a hair stylist on speed dial (if only!), we’ve searched high and low for salon styles we can do ourselves for any and every occasion. Street sleek, donut buns, perfect ponies, voluptuous volume and even Kim Kardashian’s famous blow-dry.

Kim Kardashian’s Blow Dry
Blow Dry expert Glenn McDermott, from the Blow Dry Bar Castle Hill gives us the essential steps to get body and bounce just like KK.
Rescu. recommends using: Toni & Guy Shine Gloss Serum, KMS Hair Play hair spray, pins and pin curl clip, a hair band, VS Sassoon Venezia Professional Dryer, ghd eclipse
1. After thoroughly shampooing and conditioning hair, use your towel to squeeze excess water out but never rough the hair to dry, it will only cause more flyaway hair when styling.
2. Complete the drying process with a blow dryer.
3. Once your hair is completely dried, put your hair into a high loose ponytail, but it is important to ensure that the elastic is not too tight as it will leave indentation marks.
4. Split the ponytail into the desired amount of sections (depending on how curly or wavy you want the end result to be). Then start to curl each section with a GHD styler or curling wand.
5. If you want the curls to set and last longer, you can roll each section and pin with a pin curl clip and wait until each section has cooled down.
6. Once completed, carefully take out or cut the elastic. Finish off with your with a serum, tussle hair and scrunch hair from end up to the root area to create that luscious bounce and curl of the Kim style.
7. You can also finish with a little more hair spray for extra hold!
Donut Bun:
The donut bun is your answer to high glamour in seconds plus it beats the heat.
Rescu. recommends using: Scunci Tail Comb, the Scunci Bun Maker, hair elastic, bobby pins
1. Start with clean, blow-dried hair.
2. Comb the hair using the Scunci Tail Comb up into a high ponytail at the top of your head and secure with a tie.
3. Use the tail of the comb to lift any areas of the ponytail for slight body
4. Place the Scunci Bun Maker over the ponytail, so that the ponytail sits through the hole.
5. Wrap the hair over and under the Scunci Bun Maker working in one direction until the entire bun form is covered.
6. Any leftover hair, twist and wrap around at the base of the bun and secure with pins. Easy!
Side Swept Pony:

Rescu. Recommends Using: O&M frizzy logic, O&M Rootalicious, hair elastic
1. Create a side part and spread a few drops of a style serum like O&M’s frizzy logic throughout hair.
2. At the crown of your head, take about 4 inches of hair and comb back the underside with your brush to create lift. Spray the underside with some root lift styling product like O&M Rootalicious.
3. Neatly brush back hair into a mid to low high ponytail and secure with an elastic making sure to leave a few strands to frame your face. Finally seal the look with your choice or hairspray.
