Emma Watson has a new look for a film we’re dying to see, Beyonce is going to cover an Amy Winehouse track for one of the biggest films of the year, and Lindsay Lohan scares the whole world with a three-word tweet.

Emma Watson had a pretty smooth transition from Harry Potter’s best mate to actress-to-be-taken-seriously and we doubt anyone really thinks of her in the same vein as they do Vanessa Hudgens and Selenda Gomez.
Despite this, it seems the 22-year-old has still got something to prove and is doing so in the same tried and true method of many young and famous women before her – with a sexy men’s mag cover and a risqué role.
The gorgeous star left her pixie cut and primped style at the door for the May issue of British GQ, instead donning long, tousled waves, an inked hip and a barely-there dress.
As much as we love this sexy new version of Watson, we’re thankful to say it’s not permanent. The star is dressed as Nicki, her character in Sofia Coppola’s upcoming film The Bling Ring. The flick (which we can’t wait to see) follows the story of the California teens who allegedly broke into the homes of celebrities like Miranda Kerr and Megan Fox between 2008 and 2009 and stole their designer goods.
Of the role Watson said, “The character is everything that I felt strongly against – she’s superficial, materialistic, vain, amoral. She’s all of these things and I realized that I hated her. How do you play someone you hate? But I found it really interesting and it gave me a whole new insight into what my job, or my role as an actress, could be.”
In the words of Rihanna, it’s, ‘easy for a good girl to go bad’…
Given that husband Jay-Z is producing the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, we’re hardly surprised to hear Beyonce’s name will pop up but we doubt anyone was expecting this…
Queen Bey is set to cover an Amy Winehouse hit for the highly anticipated film. The chosen track is the classic Back to Black from the 2006 Grammy-award winning album of the same name.
It’s clear Jay-Z has a soft spot for the late Winehouse after he famously featured on the single that brought her fame, Rehab, and we’re thinking this inclusion is perhaps his way of paying tribute to the singer.
A spokesperson from Interscope Records confirmed the news and said, “It’s a very different take on Back to Black.” We’re expecting less blues and more Bey and we can’t wait to hear it when The Great Gatsby opens Cannes then hits Aussie cinemas on May 30.
Love her or hate her, you have to admit that reading the words, ‘It’s official. Pregnant…’ on Lindsay Lohan’s Twitter just weeks after she was ordered to serve 90 days in a rehab centre is more than a little scary!
Luckily, the pregnancy tweet was just an April Fool’s Day joke. In true Lohan style, the 26-year-old was running late with her joke and posted the now-infamous tweet just after midnight on the 2nd of April – missing April Fool’s Day and sending the media into a tailspin.
Hours later, the 26-year-old star returned to Twitter to clear up the mess, saying, “April Fools. Where’s everyone’s sense of humor?”
