The strong red lip is back and it’s hot! I’m thrilled that girls are not afraid to wear colour anymore. Celebrities that rock this look include: Angelina Jolie; Dita Von Teese; Gwen Stefani; The Veronicas
Tips for going red:
When using a strong statement colour like this, I tend to match it up with lashes and nothing else. But don’t be afraid to use a lot of mascara and false lashes as well; it’s important when drawing so much attention to the mouth, not to lose the eyes entirely. Lots of lashes will stop that from happening.
Playing favourites: My favourite red lipstick is by Napoleon Perdis, called DeVine Goddess in Aphrodite.
