Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally engaged! Hollywood’s biggest power couple, after years of engagement and wedding rumours, 3 adopted children and three biological children, are ready to take the plunge.
We could we be seeing Hollywood’s most talked about couple heading down the aisle in the not so distant future!
“I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt,” a rep for the Beverly Hills jeweler told The Hollywood Reporter.
Raising eyebrows and the rumour mill, Jolie was spotted wearing a ring at a private event at Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Chinese Gallerie this week.
And it’s not just us who want to see the Jolie-Pitts in the wedding spectacle of the decade (sorry Kate and William!), the Jolie-Pitt clan have thrown their two cents in.
“They figured out what marriage is now, they’re old enough so now they kind of like the idea of it,” Jolie told “Extra” in February. “But we’re still convinced that half of them just want to party. They’ve heard there’s good cake.”
Pitt’s manager confirmed the news to The Associated Press in an email Friday. Cynthia Pett-Dante said that there isn’t a wedding date “at this time.” She also said that the engagement “is a promise for the future.”
If the two do take to the floor for their ‘I do’s’ it will be a long time coming since they first hooked up in 2005 on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith.
