Many may find it hard to believe that a man is fronting a women’s perfume for the first time, especially Chanel’s and after swirling rumours Paris Vogue and Chanel have confirmed in a press release today that he is indeed the new face of the perfume.
No exact date has been set, but Paris Vogue says we can expect to see Pitt in his new role at Chanel in the coming months. French paper Liberation suggests that Pitt will star in a commercial to air in the UK, and that he’s being compensated generously–we’re talking seven figures!
Liberation suggests, Pitt’s new appointment could mean Chanel is planning to expand their male sector.
What do you think? Is Brad a good frontman for the fragrance?
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s 18-month-old Faith Margaret posed in a candid moment with mum for her first magazine cover on Harper’s Bazaar Australia’s June/July issue, out next week.
The photo shoot, taken at a country property out of Sydney, was originally set to be about Nicole and winter fashion trends. Her two girls, Faith and three-year-old Sunday Rose, arrived on set in the latter part of the day where the candid snaps began to roll.
“Kidman didn’t want to put them down,” Harper’s Bazaar editor Edwina McCann said. “Sunday Rose donned one of the tuxedo jackets from the clothing racks because it was getting chilly. The photographer then took some shots of Kidman with the girls solely for her family album.”
“I think it’s OK, because you can’t see their faces; they’re still protected,” Nicole said. “I feel it’s a really lovely way to celebrate being a mum and being a family, and they’re my daughters, and they’re Keith’s daughters… you can see the hair!”
Speaking of hair, Alan White style Nicole’s hair for the shoot. “Working on Nicole Kidman’s hair for the upcoming issue of Harper’s Bazaar (June) was just amazing. This particular shoot was incredibly special for all of us involved. The setting was so uniquely Australian and I really feel that the essence of our country… the colour, the wind, the dust and emotion comes through in the images. It represents where Nicole is at in her life and showcases her unique, natural beauty with it’s innate strength and rawness of emotion. The cover shot was the last image of the day and she totally owned this look! The issue comes out 14th May,” he said.
