Bruce Weber Reveals Cindy Crawford’s ‘Rude’ Diva Moment
Cindy Crawford’s diva past has been exposed by famous photographer Bruce Weber.
On a set for Revlon in the 90s, she was apparently so rude he simply fired her from the shoot.
So what caused the rift? A backdrop of boxers, it seems.
‘It was on a Revlon shoot, and she was so rude to the entire cast and crew,’ he revealed this week to the Huffington Post. In the end he told her to ‘get out of here.’.
The breaking point? She was allegedly rude about the other members of the shoot, some local boxing champions who’d been asked to feature behind her as she posed in a Los Angeles gym.
The art director reported to Bruce that she’d said to him, “Why is Bruce photographing those old boxers when he could be photographing me? My make-up is ready.”
He confronted her and she admitted to saying it – and was dismissed in tears.
It appears the ad was never finished, but Crawford continued to work for Revlon till 2001, and she and Weber are now good friends.
Among his other revelations, he also dropped the bombshell that he refuses to ever shoot fur – and that Donatella Versace once recreated an entire outfit in faux fur, so desperate was she to have him shoot it.
What do you think – was Weber in the right, or was it a diva moment gone wrong?

Marc Jacobs On His Future: ‘Sweaters For Dogs Called Bark Jacobs’
Marc Jacobs has decided that his post-Louis Vuitton future will be a very canine one.
He half-joked this week to Women’s Wear Daily that he and his business partner Robert Duffy are planning to launch a line of sweaters for dogs and call it Bark Jacobs.
After Jacobs bowed out of Louis Vuitton (see Fashion & Style last week for his finest moments) and was replaced by Nicolas Ghesquiere, the fashion world has been waiting to see what he’ll do next.
Marc by Marc Jacobs is still one of the most popular lines on the red carpet, and Jacobs himself is all positivity.
“It seems like everyone is, ‘Are you OK? Are you upset?’ I’m like, ‘No, I’m really not’…. It’s all really super positive.”
But if he’s got a secret plan to take over the fashion world, he’s keeping it very secret. “There has never been a master plan,” he said. “I’m open to the possibility of anything.”
What do you think Marc Jacobs should do next – and will your doggy friends be dying to be seen in his Bark Jacobs style?

Sneak Peek Of Alexander McQueen x Damien Hirst Collection
Damien Hirst, the world’s best-selling modern artist, has teamed up with Alexander McQueen on an exclusive range of 30 scarves.
Featuring butterflies, skulls and other signature prints from McQueen’s past, they’ve debuted in an exclusive short film by Solve Sundsbo.
The full range is kaleidoscopic, influenced by stained glass windows, prints and insect casings.
It’s to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the iconic skull scarf that so many A-listers adored back in the early 2000s. While it’s no longer the status symbol it once was, the new scarves are looking to rapidly acquire fashion must-have status.
One notable theme? Hirst and the house of McQueen have collaborated on their love of butterflies. Before his death, McQueen once famously sent down a dress made entirely of butterflies, while Hirst first came to prominence with his taxidermies of the insects.
We also guess that they’re going to sell out immediately.
The line will be available today, Friday November 15th from Alexander McQueen online and instore, and will cost between $500 and nearly $2000. Will you be snapping up one for Christmas?
