RESCU brings you the wrap of by johnny at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2013;
As the post-daylight saving light faded away and the music began pumping within Carriageworks, the by johnny ISSU(E)IGHT Summer 14 collection debuted.
The mood was high-energy and youthful and the models were full of fresh-faced innocence. This theme continued throughout; the show began with a series of skin tight colour-blocked party dresses and closed with fun, flippy skirt-and-top combos in vibrant, luscious colours.
The crowd was a local; Sydney Fashion Blogger was spotted front row and many in the crowd were friends and supporters of the designer.
Coinciding with Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, by johnny have also created a ‘Shop-the-Look’ capsule collection exclusively for The Iconic.
RESCU loves:
The bold aquamarine hue that featured throughout the collection; particularly the clashing striped shirts and printed A-line skirt. Also the general party atmosphere of the show, which included a killer re-mix of Tracey Chapman’s ‘One Reason.’
