Cara Delevingne Blasts The Paparazzi
Cara Delevingne has gone to war with the paps.
Why? Because they followed her on vacation in Mexico with her new girlfriend, actress Michelle Rodriguez, and captured some very intimate shots in the ocean.
And now Cara is furiously protesting the invasion of her privacy.
Fitting her status as doyenne of the new generation – she took a selfie on the catwalk last year – she ranted about it on (where else?) Twitter.
“I really think that it’s disgusting that Paris is the only place where it is illegal for paps to follow you around… It’s horrible!!” she said.
“It scares me because they act like they’re assassins with their telescope lenses, hiding in bushes or whatever they can find – I actually used to feel so sorry for them… but some of them actually enjoy it.”
Topless photographs of Delevingne with Rodriguez in Mexico made headlines in Europe this week, where she is one of the most in-demand models around, earning millions a year fronting brands like Mulberry.
Rodriguez hasn’t released any statements about being captured on camera.
What do you think – invasion of privacy, or to be expected for the famous?

Who Wins The Supermodel Singing Wars?
It’s the battle of the famous model blondes.
Last week Anja Rubik featured in a bizarre, bogan-style Polish music video singing along to the lyrics of famous Polish writer Mister D, as seen above.
And now Gisele Bundchen has announced she’s entering the music scene too.
Bundchen’s, however, isn’t a passion project with one of her friends, like Rubik’s foray into song.
Hers, pictured at right, is funded by H&M for their 2014 campaign, and she’s covering the classic ‘Heart Of Glass’ by Blondie.
And it’s being produced by French producer Bob Sinclair, who’s had hits with songs like Love Generation.
There’s no video yet to compare with Anja’s strange extravaganza, which sees the Polish supermodel in a white fur gilet, a tiara and a denim miniskirt, as a commentary on the class and poverty problems in Polish society.
But it will have a video, probably shot by Lachlan Bailey, who did her campaign photos for H&M too. It will all be released in May.
So who do you think wins the supermodel singing wars – Anja Rubik’s fun trashy frolic or Gisele’s expensive remixed classic?

WWD Asks Top Designers: What Would You Give Kimye As A Wedding Present?
It’s going to be the celebrity wedding of the year, whether we like it or not.
And Women’s Wear Daily had the brilliant idea to ask top designers what they’d give to Kim and Kanye as a wedding gift.
The results? High-class, romantic, expensive – and often hilarious.
Roberto Cavalli, touchingly (if a bit cheaply) said he would offer them “all my respect, friendship and love.” Unfortunately that’s unlikely to be on the wedding registry.
Some ideas were sweet: Misha Nonoo offered a pair of cockatoo statues, used by the Chinese in Java as symbols of fidelity. And Simon Doonan thought they needed personalised Goyard trunks with K&K on them.
Alber Elbaz, who gave baby North tiny Lanvin gowns when she was born, waxed poetic: “I would make a whole collection of beautiful dresses for North, because I know how much they love her.” Sweet – even if she’ll grow out of them rapidly.
Others were a little, well, stranger.
Karl Lagerfeld said that ‘Balloon Venus’ by Jeff Koons – a well-proportioned woman in chrome balloons, reminiscent of the Willendorf Venus – would be “perfect in terms of shape”. And the latest miniature versions hold Dom Perignon champagne. Romantic or severely back-handed compliment?
Meanwhile, Stéphane Rolland said they needed a sculpture in gold of themselves – “but it has to be 18k, my dear, otherwise there is no point” – and Reece Solomon simply offered them a vintage Leica camera for selfies galore.
Chelsea Leyland offered them tongue-in-cheek matching tracksuits, while Erin Fetherston‘s choice was Emily Post’s Book Of Etiquette – because they needed to know how to handle receiving lines at Buckingham Palace.
Our favourites, however, have to been Jonathan Adler‘s gift of a vase entirely covered in breasts, and Maison Martin Margiela’s choice: anonymity.
Now those are some passive-aggressive wedding presents. Which do you like the best?
