We have always held La Mer in high regard due to their incredible skin care products, and they’ve given us one more reason to love them with their support and partnership with Oceana, the world’s leading international ocean advocacy organisation.
La Mer began their partnership with Oceana back in 2005, and have actively supported their efforts in the protection and preservation of the oceans. Donating over half a million dollars globally towards Oceana’s sea expeditons and studies. This year, in celebration of World Ocean Day and the anniversary of their 5 year partnership, La Mer have altered the look of their signature Creme de la Mer jar. This limited edition jar inspired by the powers of the sea, is in a gorgeous blue that is symbolic of their continued commitment to the oceans.
But that’s not all – La Mer are going to make an USD$200,000 donation to Oceana on World Oceans Day, another reason to love the brand. This donation will support Oceana’s habitat protection campaign and will also help heighten awareness for their recent global expansion in Belize.
The limited edition jar will only be available in the month of June, so make sure you show your support of World Oceans Day whilst ensuring yourself great winter skin. It’s a win- win situation!

About World Oceans Day:
When: June 8th
What: World Oceans Day is celebrated annually as a day to recognise the sea’s importance as a vital ecosystem, and to raise awareness of the urgent action needed to preserve its delicate habitats and wildlife.
