A new benchmark is the category of ‘Status’ lipstick, as everything from the historical names to the incredibly flattering shades are desirable. You will even get a buzz out of the sexy little ‘click’ the lipstick case makes when you close it.

To give the collection a nostalgic twist, Vanessa Paradis has been recruited as the face of the Rouge Coco range. All grown up from her debut as the beautiful caged bird from the Coco Parfum launch in the early 90s, the TV campaign that accompanies the Rouge Coco launch is a cheeky nod to the past and a chic declaration of grown-up glamour for the multi-talented Ms Paradis.
While road-testing several fabulous light weight colours, we were most impressed with the Hydratendre complex, which really helps to soften lips resulting in a sexier looking pout.
The shades are gorgeous and extensive with the choice of soft shimmer, pearl or matt finish.
