Chip Chop!, Melbourne based clothing and accessories label was established in 2006 and his best known for making ‘the humble tote bag famous’ due to it’s early collection of printed canvas tote bags. Chip Chop! uses punchy, powerful graphics to convey playful messages that engage the wearer or passer-by.

Together the brands have created the perfect tote for all occasions.
Hannah Chipkin from Chip Chop! said, “Being approached by Australis and asked to create some slogan totes, was a very fun and exciting project. The brief was simple and very open – ‘to get girls excited about putting on make-up’ – as if you need any help with that! So we set about coming up with various slogans that centred on and around the fabulous, fun world of make-up.”
The result? Two playful totes – ‘Make Me Up Before You Go-Go’ – playing on George Michael’s 80s hit, because every girl needs to doll herself up before she goes out. And ‘Put the Make Up in the Bag and Nobody Gets Hurt’ – highlighting just how crazy girls can get about cosmetics – ‘It’s a (Lip)Stick Up’. Both bags promote having fun with make-up and above all not taking it too seriously.
