Crawford’s 10-year-old daughter, Kaia, is already the face of Versace childrenswear but the supermodel mum wants her to wait a few years before pursuing a career as a model.
The supermodel’s young girl, Kaia, recently landed her first job by appearing in the campaign for Versace’s childrenswear collection and while Cindy doesn’t want her to do it full-time at the moment, she won’t have problem if she decides to try and make it when she’s older.
She said, “At this point, she’s too young to pursue a career. There aren’t even a handful of jobs for a 10-year-old girl. But if she’s 17 and wants to try it, of course, what can I say? She kind of jokingly said – I’m not even sure if it was jokingly – ‘I might model first because you don’t have to know how to do anything, but then I want to be a baby nurse.’ “
Cindy – who also has a 12-year-old son, Presley, with husband Rande Gerber – was one of the world’s top models in her heyday but admits she was upset when her famous mole was removed when she appeared on the front cover of Vogue magazine.
The 45-year-old beauty told The Daily, “The first time they put me on the cover, they airbrushed off my mole. Whenever they mess with the mole, I cringe!”
