Claire Fabb knows style and beauty. The fashion stylist and blogger has interviewed the likes of Rachel Zoe, Miranda Kerr and Sarah Jane Clarke of Sass and Bide, and styled Zara Phillips, granddaughter to the queen. We love Claire’s blog, Style by Yellow Button, and couldn’t wait to sit her down in The Beauty Bubble and take a peek in her beauty bag to find out how she does it all whilst looking so fresh-faced and fabulous.
For Claire Fabb, the love of beauty and style started at a young age. ‘I remember I was five years old and it was Christmas day and all I’d asked from Santa was a pair of high heels,’ she says. ‘I’d seen these Barbie high heels – they were big back then – and I wanted the lipstick that matched them… I was the eldest grandchild of twenty one so this was major, it was all about tottering around in these heels with the lipstick.’
Her radiant, bright, fresh skin says it all. Claire Fabb’s beauty regime starts with skincare and she keeps makeup to a minimum. When it comes to drawing inspiration for her signature look, Claire looks to radiant natural beauties. ‘Personally, I keep it really natural,’ she says. ‘And the more naturally beautiful the better in terms of looking at celebrities, so Gwyneth Paltrow is an icon – she’s a very natural beauty.’
For off-duty beauty, Claire keeps things clean. ‘I’m a beach girl, on the weekends we go to the beach and I love the salt encrusted hair – I’m pretty simple when it comes to beauty, but I really do admire looks on different people and for them finding their inner style through their beauty too.’

1. Lancôme Hypnôse Custom-Wear Volume Mascara ($52). ‘I’ve had it forever and a day and it’s been one of those things that I’ll probably have until I die,’ says Claire. 3. A great BB Cream. ‘I don’t really like wearing that much makeup,’ says Claire. ‘I don’t use foundation very much, but for me the BB Cream I’m finding great if I’ve got an event or working or anything like that I find it really good.’
