Models at Carolina Herrera’s New York show were made up to look “timeless, fresh and really beautiful”, due to the handiwork of MAC make-up artist Diane Kendal. Onlookers described the make-up as “polished perfection”.
Here’s how Diane achieved the look for Carolina Herrera using MAC cosmetics:
The eyes:
Retrospeck Eye Shadow was dusted all over the lid up to the eyebrow. Brown Down Eye Shadow was then brushed onto the crease of the eye lid and used as liner on the top and bottom, blended for a soft smokey eye.
Black Crème Liner was used in a thin line to the lash line and Blackdazzle Dazzle Lash Mascara was generously applied to the top and bottom lashes. Then the brows were tidied with Clear Browset Gel.
The skin:
Diane used Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation for light coverage and a dewy, fresh finish. It was followed by a Medium Blot Powder, dusted onto the skin to set. To finish, Style Powder Blush was brushed onto apples of the cheeks to create a peachy shimmer.
Lips:
Twig Lipstick was stained onto the lips to enhance their natural colour.
