Sydney’s Merivale Group is about to celebrate World Cocktail Week (May 5 to 13) with a tasty line-up of events that will no doubt leave you shaken, but certainly not stirred.
Some of Sydney’s hottest venues like The Ivy, Lotus, Ms G’s, The Beresford, Establishment, and more will be host to a series of cocktail inspired celebrations, whose delectable delights were previewed at Hemmesphere on Thursday night with an exclusive launch party.
The week promises to be a sophisticated and stylish affair. From Cuba to Italy, Paris to Mexico, you’ll travel via your tastebuds around the world of beverages in style, all while gaining insight into the history of these very special drinks. If you love a good cocktail, hope to improve your mixing technique, or simply want to gain a greater appreciation (and palate) for the various whiskeys, rums, cognacs, vodkas or gins on the market, this is the week to do it.

Cuban Rum Masterclass
What: Learn how to mix some of Cuba’s most infamous cocktails from the Merivale head mixologist, Mikey Enright.
