Forget hitting a bull’s eye. This show was all about hitting a cat’s eye, with cats being a major inspirational theme for Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro’s comeback show.
Known for their quirky prints, Clements Ribeiro did not disappoint, with Warhol-esque cats complete with cats’ eyes edged in zippers taking centre stage.
For fashionistas who were not so keen on tapping into their feline side, there was also the option of more classic stripped dresses complete with sailor buttons, monochrome designs and delicious candy coloured pink, blue and cream stripes.
The feel for the show was very Riviera chic, part 1920s, part 1950s and perfect for upcoming seasons, transeasonal weather and bohemian aristocrats, or rather aristo-cats.
From the skirts to the sweaters to the tops and cardigans, this is the ‘purr-fect’ mix-and-match casual chic wardrobe.
