Some ‘angels’ outfits were vanilla coloured and Grecian in feel, with multiple tiers of fabric making their way to skim the ground. Others were nude coloured and sheer. All that was missing from the outfits were the shining halos above the models’ heads.
Mixing things up a little came modern leather heels combined with more seventies inspired clothes that had more of an edge than the angelic offerings. Think white suits channelling the original Mrs. Jagger; tan coloured playsuits in the softest of leather, belted khaki coloured shirt dresses, denim shirts combined with denim jeans, chic and cosy wrapped cardigans, and flowing capes worn effortlessly over playsuits and jeans.
Smugly, we realised that these chic flowing capes may be our new best friends. Apart from keeping us warm and looking effortlessly breezy no matter what was underneath, they are also the perfect disguise if we indulged in a little too many macaroons, baguettes and croissants over the remaining days of Paris Fashion Week.
Thank you Chloé for giving us a way to have our cake AND eat it too!!
