The long weekend may be behind us but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun. It seems Australia’s cities have pulled out all the stops this week to provide us with culture at even more decadent heights.
There’s fabulous photography on display with The Fashion of Helmut Newton and Bettina Rheims in Sydney and Picturing New York: Photographs from the Museum of Modern Art in Perth. To fulfill our girlhood fantasies, the Queensland Ballet Company have put on a lavish production of Cinderella. And if that wasn’t enough spectacle, the incredible puppetry of Warhorse will certainly have you stepping off into another world.
When it comes to pure, indulgent escapism, the stakes have definitely been raised. So grab your diary and take note, this weeks Culture Vulture is the perfect cure to your post long weekend blues.
