Dami Im Alive Video to be Reshot

X Factor winner and all-round sweetheart Dami Im has been forced to remove the video for her first single ‘Alive’ thanks to a barrage of complaints from fans.
After Im’s supporters took to social media with complaints that ranged from calling the video ‘cheap’, to referring to Im’s performance as ‘cheap’, Sony Music Australia removed the single and promised a reshoot.
Sony issued statement on their Facebook and Twitter last night, which read, “To all the Dami Im fans, the video for Alive was taken down because we listened to you, the fans. We are shooting a new video shortly and we will keep you posted on the progress. Thanks again for all your tremendous support of Dami.”
As is typical of reality show winners, the video for Im’s single was shot in a rush, and the limited budget meant the star was unable to produce the kind of top-notch video that are commonplace for international stars.
Luckily, this hiccup has done Im’s career no harm whatsoever. The rising star is currently enjoying a number one position on iTunes in Australia, number two in Malaysia, and number three in Singapore.
We can’t wait to see the new video and certainly hope that this time it does the star justice!

Miranda Kerr Loses Mango Contract
Although there’s absolutely no doubt that Miranda Kerr has continued to hit career highs in 2013, this year has seen the Aussie model lose a few major contracts (and a husband).
At the start of the year, it was announced she was to be replaced by Jessica Gomes as a David Jones ambassador. Soon after, rumours about her involvement with Victoria’s Secret coming to a close started to swirl and it was later confirmed she was officially an Angel no longer. Now, it has been announced that the star’s contract as the face of Spanish clothing line Mango has come to a screeching halt.
Mango has been fronted by a huge line-up of major celebs including Kate Moss (whom Miranda replaced just last year), Scarlett Johansson, Milla Jovovich, Naomi Campbell, and Claudia Schiffer. The latest name in the lineup, and the woman to replace Ms Kerr, is none other than Daria Werbowy who has been enjoying much success in the past year as the spokeswoman for Lancôme and a twice Vogue cover star.
With a few obligations off her plate, a newly single status, and her skincare brand Kora expanding at a rapid pace, we can’t wait to see what Miranda Kerr will do next!
Yumi Stynes Pregnant
This morning one-time Channel [V] presenter, The Circle star, and now Mix106.5 breakfast co-host Yumi Stynes announced some very exciting news on air.
The glowing star told fans she and husband of one year Martin Bendeler are expecting their first child together!
She said, “If everything goes to plan, I’ll be having a baby in June next year. I’m really relieved that I don’t have to keep it a secret anymore,”continuing, “I’ve just crossed the three-month mark, so apologies to everybody for my scatty brain and my general nausea.”
Stynes, 38, has two daughters Dee Dee and Anouk with her ex-partner of eight years Ben Ely from band Regurgitator.
