“The look was Uptown girl meets Woodstock, a shimmery golden eye to contradict the deep, dark purple lip”, said Tom Pecheux, who mixed a gorgeous lippie called ‘Kittenish’ with a dark eye shadow to create the purple lips.
Here are the simple steps to achieve this look with MAC products:
Eyes:
1. Studio Sculpt Concealer was applied over the eyelid.
2. Set Powder in Invisible was powdered over the eye area to set concealer.
3. Pigment in With Legal was swept over the concealed eyelid from lash to brow and in the inner eye corner.
4. Iridescent Powder in Silver Dusk was lightly applied to the inner eye corner and under the brow bone.
5. Studio Fix Lash was applied to top and bottom lash.
Face:
1. Studio Sculpt SPF Foundation was applied all over the face.
2. Set Powder in Invisible was brushed over the skin to set the foundation for a matte finish.
3. Iridescent Powder in Silver Dusk was lightly brushed onto the cheekbones.
Lips:
1. Lip Pencil in Currant was lined around the natural shape of the mouth, for perfect lip definition.
2. Lipstick in Kittenish was applied all over the lip with a M•A•C 242 Brush.
3. Mineralize Eye shadow Duo in My Dark Magic was lightly applied over the lipstick with fingertips.
