Day three of NY fashion week was all about being young, sporty and active. Forget high heels, today was all about Keds sneakers and chunky flat boots.

If you are planning a trip to deepest, darkest Scotland and want to make sure that you are not only warm, but still able to master a look that is chic, then look no further than Rag & Bone. This is one label that has gotten the warm and fuzzy look right down to a plaid tee.
For their first stand-alone women’s collection, designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville borrowed from their own men’s range and layered chunky scarves, cashmere long socks, kilts, corduroy jackets and trousers, tweed blazers, androgynous boots and woollen jumpers with more feminine silk shirts, jersey mini dresses, ponchos and capes.
Even if you have no plans to drink whiskey and eat Haggis in an enchanted forest, these clothes are also sure to keep you warm and in-vogue during bitterly cold, city winters.
With our warm winter woollies taken care off, there is always still a need for fun, flirty, frivolous party dresses…

Media releases about Stacey Bendet’s label Alice + Olivia often talks of the designer as being ‘socially well connected’ and the front row at her show is always testament to the truth in this.
Buzzing with almost more Gossip Girl cast members than models themselves, as well as ‘It girls’ Sophia Bush, Tinsley Mortimer and Mena Suvari, Bendet served up perfect party dresses that her girl-about-town type of clients want to wear when they are about town.
As music by glam rocker Mickey Avalon rocked the room and helped to create the perfect party atmosphere, party girls managed to look serious as they strategised just where they could wear each dress to.
Whilst Bendet’s celeb clients may favour their Choo heels over the limited edition Keds line designed especially for this collection, the Keds may go perfectly with the Lacoste items we’re about to see.
