The day began with simple, feminine chic at Stella McCartney. In the opening looks, the designer replaced her usual boyfriend-cut blazers with softer silk suits and separates.

Denim also featured in A-line skirts, paired with a crisp shirt or lace camisole. In the finale, girly frocks in reds, blues and oranges with ruffled hems and necklines flirted with the audience as they danced down the runway.
Celine: (as pictured above)
For her first major runway show at Celine, Phoebe Philo (the former It girl at Chloé) presented a collection of sharp skirts, modified military jackets, and chunky wedges – all in a simple palette of black and white and earth tones.
The contrast between the feminine tailoring of the high-waisted, wide-leg pants and the fine leather t-shirts and skirts reflected the uber chic Celine woman, who is just subtly sexy.
Yves Saint Laurent: (as pictured below)
To end the day, Yves Saint Laurent gave us a collection that embodied the two selves of the contemporary woman; femininity and ferocity.
The collection fused flattering wide-legged pants, trendy transparent tops, and minimal dresses.
The collection’s juxtaposition between romantic dresses, and strawberry prints and monochrome pantsuits, tailored pencil-skirts and lots of leather is perfect for the woman who is powerful, but pretty.
