Hollywood actress Diane Kruger has signed up to play the lead in upcoming TV drama, The Bridge.
Based on the Swedish and Danish series Broen, The Bridge will chronicle the efforts of two detectives, one from Texas and the other from Mexico, as they track down a serial killer on both sides of the border.
The 36-year-old actress will play Sonya North, an El Paso officer with an abrupt style.
For Kruger, this new lead role marks the ‘Inglourious Basterds’ star’s first move from the big screen to a full time small screen role.
International supermodel Heidi Klum is following in the footsteps of Duchess Kate, planning to sue over topless photos taken of her while she was also holidaying.
Klum was on vacation with her four children and boyfriend/bodyguard in the South of France when the invasive paparazzi snapped the shots, which were then published in a range of French magazines.
The ‘Project Runway’ host is now considering filing a lawsuit based on invasion of privacy, reports TMZ.
Although, unlike in Kate’s case, it could be a bit trickier as apparently Klum’s lawyers are having trouble tracking down which magazine published the topless pictures first so they’re currently on a hunt to find the source of the original shots.
Klum isn’t pulling out the big legal guns anytime soon though; instead it appears her legal team is waiting to see how the Royal’s case unfolds. If successful, it will be much easier for Klum to establish precedent and score a victory of her own. Smart move Klum.
