Day four of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week saw designer Dion Lee’s parade beautifully staged beneath the sails of the Opera House.
Dion Lee’s show featured exquisite tailoring, daring symmetrical cut outs, mess inserts, beautiful designs with ink print blots and sunray pleating in lilacs, turquoise, aqua, grey, creams and beige.
Each outfit was accessorised with an eclectic mix of big crystal rings, drop gold earrings and chunky crystal necklaces, with OPI’s Pearls of Wisdom on the hands and toes of models like additional jewels.
The make-up was minimalistic with only a slight hint of grey eye shadow, whilst the hair was natural looking, straight and slicked back with gel.
Fernando Frisoni’s show at the Cargo Theatre was galactic inspired, featuring strong tones of futurism, military styles and strong bold colours. Models wore OPI’s Coney Island Cotton Candy to compliment the look.
The sharp structured tailoring including long jackets was contrasted with soft floaty feminine, modern vibrant prints, detailing such as ostrich feather, draped sheer dresses and see-through organza shorts. Shiny ankle boots also made a statement.
Make-up was again minimalistic, with swept back free flowing hair.
