Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Correct and Conceal Duo
We first saw the Intensive skin serum, then the matching foundation and now a correct & conceal duo. Imagine using all 3 for optimal results.
As a makeup artist, I have been using the correct then conceal method for a while. It really is the only way to maximise an anti-dark circle result.
A lot of women try to only conceal using a lighter shade. But a corrector shade should be slightly more yellow than the depth of your dark circle – this will counter balance dark circles – then a highlighting concealer shade can be placed over the top for brightness.
This duo provides the makeup artist technique of Correct then Conceal, but with the skincare benefits of the Intensive Skin Serum franchise, working on brightness, rejuvenation, while helping to reduce pigmentation and irritation.
Always correct first then conceal.
RRP $59 (each), available August 30th
Ultraceuticals Ultra CC Powder Pure Mineral Foundation Shade 5 – Bronzer
If you are like me, then you will love a bronzer. It really has become a makeup kit staple by adding warmth to your overall complexion, or the on-trend contouring craze by using a bronzer as a shade tone under the cheekbone or any hollows of the face, including the eye socket where I love to use bronzer as a base eye shadow. The list goes on.
Shade number 5 of the Ultra CC Pure Mineral Foundation range is also a bronzer and it delivers premium skincare qualities. With the unique anti-ageing triple complex and conditioning ingredients like Vitamin C & E, this lightweight powder will brighten & smooth the complexion, giving a healthy glow.
Great for sensitive skin that still wants high-end results, as well as something free of parabens, talcs and preservatives.

Clinique Lash Building Primer
A lash primer can sometimes be seen as just another product brands want us to buy. Yes, it will thicken your lashes and boost your mascara performance, exactly how a serum works under your moisturizer. But is it worth it?
The answer is simply, yes!
The formula contains high levels of moisture and seeing that mascara and mascara removal can be damaging by leaving our lashes dry, adding a primer underneath will condition, strengthen and leave a protective coat over lashes, which then allows your mascara to work better and look fuller. It’s a win win!

Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge
Lipsticks have come a long way over the years and now we have anti-ageing ingredients ensuring our lips are plumper and fuller than ever.
With the matte lip trend a big hit with celebs and on the runway, they don’t always leave the lips looking fuller as they can appear dry with a less plump feel upon application.
With L’Absolu Rouge from Lancôme, it uses the famous ingredient Pro-Xylane which is collagen producing, allowing your lip contour to be more pronounced, resulting in plumper lips. Eight hours of moisture, plus SPF 12, as well as nineteen shades: this one definitely ticks off the double duty approach to beauty.
My tip of the day: Use a little leftover lipstick from your fingertip and massage into the apple of the cheek for a hydrated, fresh colour pop, it can be really lifting when feeling flat.
