Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick, more commonly known as the infamous Chuck Bass, flew into Sydney yesterday morning to a warm welcome from fans. Ed’s visit to Sydney is to promote the new Virgin Mobile Smart Cap plans, and he is set to do a signing at Virgin’s Pitt Street Mall on Thursday.
As Ed headed off the plane, there was no sign of the slick luxury look of his character Chuck Bass; instead, he wore a cap and plaid check shirt and looked relatively scruffy (but we will let that slide after his long flight to our shores)
Ed has been romantically linked to his co-star Jessica Szohr, but the actress is not with him on his short trip to Australia, adding fire to the rumours that they may have broken up. Either way, we are guessing Ed’s fans will be going crazy over the actor during his stay in Sydney.
