The most popular show winners of the night were hands down comedy series Modern Family, Drama series Homeland and Mini series Game Change.
It was a refreshing and unexpected change from the past 4 years of ‘Mad Men’ domination at the annual awards show.
Individual stand out starlet winners included Julie Bowen for Best Supporting Comedy Actress, Claire Danes for Lead Actress in Drama Series, Julianne Moore for Lead Actress in Mini Series and Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Lead Actress in Comedy.
