The iconic fragrance Angel by Thierry Mugler has a new face. In local news, Cleo have just announced their Bachelor of the Year finalists and there’s a bit of a surprise in there. It’s all about sisterhood in Lala land where recent single girls Renee Zellweger and Sandra Bullock have been having some much-needed girl talk.
Eva Mendes is Thierry Mugler’s New Angel
Sultry beauty Eva Mendes is the new face of the star shaped fragrance Angel by Thierry Mugler. Since 2008, this legendary perfume has had Naomi Watts’ as its face. Her ethereal beauty and softness was the perfect embodiment of the angelic side of the fragrance. Now, Mendes is here to reignite the strong, spontaneous notes of the fragrance which has been a favourite since 1992.
In other news for the 36-year-old star is rumoured to be one of the possibilities to play the role of Lori in the upcoming Total Recall remake. Other possibilities for that role are Kate Bosworth and Diane Kruger. We can’t wait to find out who is cast!
Ken Nominated as Bachelor of the Year
We love when the Bachelor of the Year competition rolls around and we’re always delighted and surprised by some of the nominees. This year the shock nominee was none other then Barbie’s main squeeze Ken! That’s right, the plastic fantastic Ken is a nominee.
And he’s not taking the competition lightly either. He recently made his first trip to Australia with Barbie for the launch of the event. A life-sized Ken doll stood beside the other bachelors saying, “You could say I’m the original dream date, so what better why to confirm this than a Bachelor of the Year title.”

Renee Zellweger and Sandra Bullock’s Girl Time
We told you about Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper’s split on Monday. After a break-up, girlfriends are the first thing we turn to and it seems the stars are no different. While Renee Zellweger has been spending some post-breakup time in New York, she visited Sandra Bullock’s Manhattan apartment.
The two have more than just high-profile break-ups in common. Both ladies have a connection to Texas and are both in their forties. Sources have said that Zellweger wants to start focusing on her career again and it seems Bullock is doing the same. She is currently shooting a film adaptation of the book Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close in New York with Tom Hanks.
