How to get the look:
The best product I’ve found for this so far is the award-winning Smashbox Brow Tech. You can combine the powder that contains the pigment with the wax for the hold.
I start with combining the two to get the depth of colour and then feather over it with the powder alone so it looks more like natural eyebrows rather than drawn on by a pencil. The brush you choose for this is the most important element. It needs to have reasonably tough bristles but fine so the flecked lines imitate fine hairs. I find the Mac Angled Brow Brush does the job. ‘Browsing’ by Benefit is also a great kit.
Rescu. Road Test: We recently checked out the excellent services of the Benefit Brow Studios. For movie star brows or simply to polish your appearance, the Benefit gals (all qualified beauty therapists) are the front line for fast, affordable and quality brow grooming. “A professional brow arch lights up your look! It’s like a mini make over.” Jean and Jane Ford, co-creators of Benefit Cosmetics. Check out the Benefit Brow Bars located at selected Myer stores in Sydney and Melbourne.
This “now to wow” service takes care of unruly brows in around 7 minutes. Every brow service is followed by a bonus ‘light touch-up’ using the fun, fast and fabulous Benefit range. This had us looking very perky and refreshed for a Friday afternoon. So good infact that we decided to go out in the wind and rain just because we looked so good!
