After seven years together, Hermès and Jean-Paul Gaultier, artistic director of the women’s ready-to-wear division, have decided to go their separate ways. Rescu. discovers the reasons between the split and who his replacement will be.
This split will allow Jean-Paul Gaultier to concentrate on his own projects.
Hermes’ spring-summer 2011 collection (to be revealed in October) will be the last collection created by Gaultier.
The man to fill Gaultier’s shoes will be Christophe Lemaire, the designer who Revamped “Lacoste”. We can’t wait to see which direction he takes the company in.
