Fashion Palette is around the corner!

Rescu. will be attended the two day event in Sydney, and taking in all the information there is to gain from these industry leaders. Guest speakers include Nikita Sernack from Nookie, Wayne Cooper and Samantha Wills, plus there will be numerous runway shows revealing the collections of emerging and established designers.
One of the emerging designers showing is Ronda Elmasri of label Lovers and Collaborators. Ronda will be showcasing her new collection at Fashion Palette, and she describes it as ‘vintage, rock and sleek’- we can’t wait to see it on the day! For info on tickets to Fashion Palette, click here.
Peter Morrissey’s latest collection for Big
We were so excited earlier this year when Peter Morrissey made his grand return to the fashion world with his diffusion line for Big W. ‘Woman.’ Now the designer is back with a new collection for Big W, but as the first one sold out in record time we are being warned to think and shop, quick! Peter’s latest range features easy to wear yet feminine designs, from cute belted shorts to sexy lingerie pieces. And with everything retailing between $24.77 to $59.92, there is no reason not to buy! The new collection will be in stores Oct 7th.
Balmain take the runway at Paris Fashion Week
The annual Paris Fashion Week kicked off yesterday, and, well, we are amazed. With a stunning array of designers including Balenciaga, Zac Posen, Dries van Noten having already shown, we are waiting anxiously on our seats for the latest shows to be revealed!
Although the week is far from over, one show has definitely stood out so far, and that is Balmain. Balmain came into the fashion world with a bang, and they are continuing to forge the way to victory. Designer Christophe Decarnin did what he did best, embellished, detailed and added his signature Balmain touch to every thread.
Blazer jackets were printed and encrusted with jewels, and worn with must have skinny leg leather pants. Singlet tops floated easily in vibrant prints, and were paired with body con mini skirts equip with embellished detail. There was a distinct grunge aesthetic to the collection, from fire engine red jackets to rock inspired black skirts and leather- all finished off with studding, crystals and shredded detail.
