Welcome to February!
So here we are in Valentine’s month. What are you the stars looking like? Actually very positive. The same alignment which is strongly influencing February 14 is the one which is influencing the whole month.
It’s the biggest planetary combination of February and in fact one of the signature planetary alignments of 2020. It’s between the planet of good luck and all good things, Jupiter, and the planet of the numinous, the Divine, soul mates and poetry, Neptune.
In other words, there is a lot of romance in the air this month!
The Jupiter/Neptune link takes place on February 20, so we will all be feeling it on February 14th. If there’s someone in your life that you want to romance, who you feel is a soul mate, who you want to imagine a life with, this is a great year for it. It also suggests that February 14 will be fun for going out, drinking wine, and generally enjoying the poetry of life.
And if you’re not really particularly interested in romance, but you are on the spiritual path, it also means February is going to be an amazing month for you.
This is the time to go higher with your spiritual practices. If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to learn how to meditate, for example, or to meditate more frequently, go for it this month. Neptune will connect you with the celestial realms.
Also, note that this month brings another Mercury retrograde. This time around, the communications planet Mercury will be going retrograde on February 17, in the sign of Pisces.
Bringing it back to the Valentine’s day theme, if things don’t unfold as you’d like on February 14, this retrograde cycle will bring a second chance. Reason being, Mercury is going to retrograde all the way back over the degrees of the zodiac where it was on Valentine’s night. So expect a second and even a third chance when it comes to, for example, letting someone know how you feel.
Mercury retrograde in Pisces is a great time to rethink and review your spiritual connection, too.
If you are completely stressed at work, for example, it’s a good time to ask yourself if doing something very simple like pranayama breathing in the morning could be just what you need to help your nervous system settled down.
2020 is all about improving ourselves on a cosmic level, so go for it!
Meanwhile, we get the Full Moon in Leo on February 9. Leo is the proudest sign of the zodiac, so if you know your own pride has been tripping you up recently, this is the time to release it.
Also, ask yourself if you have been too proud to forgive someone? Forgiving someone now could change your life! The reason is that when you forgive, you really can move on to a better future. When you’re stuck in anger, you’re just … stuck.
The New Moon will take place on February 24 and is in the sign of Pisces.
