While Fergie is giving her music career a rest, she is keeping herself busy with a whole bunch of new and exciting projects and making sure we don’t miss her! Not only has she been promoting her latest film, The Romantics, but has stepped out in the name of charity and has released a new fragrance.
The six-time Grammy Award winner and Avon spokesperson was a special guest at the LA area’s Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. After congratulating the top ten fund raisers and speaking at the closing ceremony, Fergie presented twelve grants and demonstrated how funds raised will be an immediate benefit to the community.
During the speech at the closing ceremony, Fergie, showing off her recently lightened hair, said, “I had the chance to meet some of you out on the route today and hear stories of why you walk,” continuing, “I can only say… thank you. Thank you for taking a stand and walking an insane amount of miles to fight breast cancer.”
Fergie has also recently released Outspoken, her signature scent for Avon which she describes as “the perfect opportunity to share my originality and confidence with my fans”. The sexy advertisements show gorgeous Fergie donned in black and rocking brunette locks.
