Indeed this is exactly the Mariah, perfumer Olivier Gillotin of Givaudan sought to capture when he created this, her 3rd fragrance with Elizabeth Arden.
“When I first met with Mariah, I was inspired to create a glamorous, opulent floral” Gillotin said. “True to her persona, I wanted the scent to be radiant but to also evoke a warm sensuality. This fragrance has iconic white florals which convey a powerful message of feminine sensuality and classic glamour.”
Forever’s opulent floral heart comes from notes of Gardenia and Tuberose, combined with top notes of Neroli, Lotus Blossom and Green Apple and dry downs of Exotic Woods and White Musk.
It’s all very girly and glamorous, from the very pink packaging, to the Art Deco-style crystal bottle to the pretty floral scent. Nothing less than we would expect from the woman who’s been hailed at the World Music Awards as the “World’s Best Selling Female Artist of the Millennium”.
