Forevermark Launches in Australia
Elite diamond brand Forevermark launched in Australia this week, with a sumptuous soiree at the Sydney Opera House and we cannot wait to peruse some of their beauties in person!
The brand, which is part of the De Beers group of companies, is now officially available from authorised jewellers, including Diamonds International, Musson and Percy Marks.
Held at the stunning Guillaume at Bennelong restaurant at the Sydney Opera House, the launch was certainly an affair to remember, hosted by esteemed television presenter and journalist Sarah Harris and Forevermark, and boasting a slew of high profile guests including Steven Khalil and Nerida Winter.
The diamonds worn by models at the glamorous event have also graced the necks of international stars Alicia Keys, Liz Hurley and Elizabeth McGovern, and at last month’s Emmy Awards, Emilia Clarke and Giuliana Rancic were both adorned with Forevermark diamonds on the red carpet. The brand is also known for its high profile collaborations, its diamonds have inspired creations by Gareth Pugh, L’Wren Scott and Stephen Webster.
Forevermark CEO Stephen Lussier says “We expect Forevermark to do exceptionally well in Australia. We partner with jewellers of the highest calibre around the world who share our passion for diamonds. Australia is a natural extension for us, having expanded extensively around the globe since launching in 2008. Anyone wearing Forevermark can be assured that each diamond is responsibly sourced, beautiful, rare and of the highest quality.”

Dion Lee Website Relaunch
This week, Australian designer Dion Lee took his visionary label to the next level, with the launch of a new website on Wednesday and the announcement of the first Dion Lee boutique.
The revitalised site features an e-store that ships across Australia as well as internationally, including styles from ‘Windmap’ Southern Hemisphere Spring ’13 collection, which debuted at Australian fashion week, along with a selection of styles from ‘Oil + Water’ Resort ’13, which will drop throughout November.
Even more excitingly, SITE 01, the futuristically named concept store will be opening in December this year at The Strand Arcade, and will carry the newly launched (WATER) Swimwear range. The store concept was developed by Dion Lee, in collaboration with Kelvin Ho of Akin Creative, the design house that recently created the Vanishing Elephant store. Get ready for a retail interior that melds the slick, conceptual aesthetic of the label with modern design.
Rescu. Loves: the ‘Windmap’ supersonic galaxy prints on separates and sculptural dresses, as well as the super slick wet look black jackets.
Dion Lee says ‘I am extremely excited to communicate the product through our own channels. It has been a dream to create an environment which elevates the collections and I have loved developing a physical space and a digital platform in parallel.’

New Label: ‘Prince of Etiquette’
We just love discovering a new label, particularly an Australian name, and our new find Prince of Etiquette is definitely one to bookmark on your browser.
Designed and made in Australia, the label was created by duo Jade and Sven with a focus on clean lines… and short skirts!
The collection includes a range of beautifully tailored shift dresses in silks with rose gold hardware detailing, as well as a core range of classic tops, shorts and mini’s that channel the same aesthetic.
Combining high end tailoring, construction and fabrics to create a collection that embodies a classic look, the label exudes feminine refinement, with a flirty edge. We can’t help but imagine Miranda Kerr or Olivia Palermo rocking one of the label’s mini dresses in sky high heels or cute flats.
Though the label’s focus is on timeless shift dresses and tee-style tops, the colour scheme is revitalized with the season- this Summer’s collection features an absolutely gorgeous tangerine hue that comes in block colour as well as a mod-inspired lattice-print, and a powder blue number with a Peter Pan collar that needs only a pair of Roman sandals to complete the look.
The debut collection is available online internationally now!
