Richard Malouf, Managing Director and Founder of Malouf Pharmacies in Queensland, was recently inducted into the Fragrance Foundation Australia’s Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is a bi-annual award recognising the achievement and dedication of an individual who has had a distinguished career and outstanding contribution to the Australian fragrance industry.The Fragrance Foundation recognised Mr Maloufs contribution to the Australian fragrance industry at a cocktail event held at the Art Gallery of NSW. Mr Malouf was awarded for his introduction of fine fragrances into the Direct Factory Outlet’s concept – bringing fine fragrances to the broader market in a high quality, unique and stylish offer.
Richard Malouf is the fourth inductee to enter the Hall of Fame, joining a prestigious group of recipients including Trish Hale, fragrance marketer and retail buyer for Grace Bros and David Jones, Bernard Leser, founder of Vogue Australia and Cahirmand and Managing Director of Condé Nast Asia Pacific, and Michael Edwards, international fragrance author and FiFi Award winner.
