Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli’s self-titled fragrance is an elegant floral that exudes sensuality and femininity. Gucci, Flora Garden collection (Gorgeous Gardenia, Gracious Tuberose, Glamorous Magnolia)
Inspired by the flowers appearing on the famous “Flora” pattern, originally designed for Princess Grace of Monaco(Grace Kelly), is Gucci’s new Flora Garden collection, three of which are hitting Australia this month. Gorgeous Gardenia is a sparkling white floral with notes of red berries, pear, gardenia, frangipani, patchouli and brown sugar. Gracious Tuberose’s fresh and elegant aroma features peach, violet leaves, tuberose, orange flower, rose, cedarwood and citrus notes. Finally, Glamorous Magnolia has a refined and feminine feel with top notes freesia, green leaves and citrus, a heart of magnolia and peony and a base of sandalwood, musk and chocolate. Three different fragrances to represent the aspects of a modern mother!

Ralph Lauren, Big Pony Collection for Women
After the success of the Big Pony Collection for men, fashion and lifestyle brand Ralph Lauren have created a collection of the same name for women. #1 is for the “sporty”, energetic mother and consists of grapefruit and white lotus, #2 is the “sensual”, romantic woman’s fragrance with notes of cranberry and tonka, #3 is the “free-spirited” fragrance which features pear and mimosa – great for your mother if she’s the laid-back type – and #4 contains wild cherry and amber and is for the mum who’s “stylish” and young-at-heart. Guerlain, Idylle Duet Jasmin Lilas (limited edition)
Fashion and beauty powerhouse Guerlain releases Duet Jasmine Lilas, the second follow-up in its Idylle series, after Duet (which focussed on the notes of rose and patchouli). Estee Lauder, Beautiful

Chanel No.19
Originally released in 1971, the now-classic Chanel No.19, named after Coco Chanel’s birthday – August 19, is a green floral for the confident woman. No.19 includes galbanum (an aromatic gum resin used in many green fragrances), bergamot, narcissus, jasmine, leather and oakmoss, which blend into a sophisticated scent for all occasions. For the mother who exudes boldness and self-assurance!

Christian Dior, Diorissimo
In 1956, master perfumer Edmond Roudnitska created the classic green floral Diorissimo. Based the fragrance of lily of the valley, the scent includes jasmine and rose absolutes, musk and hints of forest greens. Fresh, slightly sweet: great for a spring day! Over 50 years later, Dior blended a more modern version of the classic fragrance in EDP form – still with notes of jasmine and rose absolutes, but with a different green characteristic. It’s richer, yet still has the essence of the original Diorissimo. Both concentrations would suit a classy and ever-beautiful mother!
