OPI nail lacquer continued to make statements and pay tribute to new season’s trends at day two of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week.
OPI’s Samoan Sand featured at Camilla and Marc and complimented the designers’ use of an assortment of soft pastels. The interesting draping of the dresses and skirts, plus their use of luxurious fabrics and gold accessories, added to the relaxed yet glamorous, feel at this Bohemian themed show.
Aussie powerhouse sister duo Zimmermann made a statement with bold and daring make-up, futuristic jewellery, against black and white geometrical designs combined with pink floral prints. High waisted 1950s, Katherine Hepburn pants, daring cut outs and sheer shirts with cross over tops, added to the show’s glamour.
There was a Spanish influence with make-up to match the bold fashion range. Heavy dark eyebrows, pulled back flowing hair, dark dramatic burgundy lips. OPI stylist Karon McKendrick-Taylor aimed to match the burgundy lips through laying lacquers; Lincoln Park After Dark, followed by Manicurist in Seville.
